Quantic

Quantic is a comprehensive e-commerce platform that empowers Colombian businesses to sell their products both domestically and internationally. The platform handles the entire commerce lifecycle—from storefront creation to order fulfillment. As a core developer, I build new features, refactor existing functionality, and integrate third-party services to expand client options. The system includes a custom backend, dynamic storefronts, and a centralized dashboard for managing stores, orders, products, payments, and shipping. Key integrations include payment processing (PayPal, Stripe), shipping providers (Shippo, ShipHero, ShipStation), and social commerce channels (Meta Shop, TikTok Shop). The platform leverages Redis for caching and session management, with Sentry and Grafana Loki providing observability across the stack. It also supports bulk upload and download for resources like products and orders, streamlining inventory and fulfillment workflows. All sites built with Quantic are SEO optimized out of the box. When building Baboon.fun, we identified layers of technical debt that needed addressing—through intensive pair programming sessions, we completely refactored the architecture: redesigning database schemas, cleaning up deprecated code, optimizing queries, and streamlining core logic. This reduced new storefront deployment from weeks to days.
